3.9 How to add Drawings
Drawing is one of the oldest forms of communication and can be categorized as human expression. With drawing someone can express one’s creativity and expressions. That might possibly be one of the reasons why Snapchat added a drawing feature to their app. On this page we are explaining how to add drawings for your creative expressions.
STEP 1: First of all, make sure you have captured or recorded a Snap, as you can’t add a drawing to your piece of art before the background even exists.
STEP 2: After you have captured something, you access a screen where you can review your Snap one last time before sharing it. Next to reviewing it, you can add several layers, like Geofilters, Filters, Emoji, text and more, which we also have been writing about.
STEP 3: After you have Snapped something, you find yourself in the ‘review area’. On the top right of the screen you can find three buttons. The one on the right is the one you need! When the color palette on the right appears you can start drawing in the selected color! You can select more colors by holding your finger on the color palet.
STEP 4: You can draw right over your captured photos and recorded videos. You choose whether you would like to use multiple colors or leave it with one. Just draw what you think will contribute to your Snap. If it’s a circle around an interesting appearance or paint lines over your face, everything is possible!
